Unlike the previous editions, this edition of the SMC Journal of Cultural and Media Studies, JCMS, does not focus on a specific theme. Nevertheless, the papers which have found their way into the edition constitute a veritable confluence of ideas and insights from scholars who have a firm grip on research developments in their areas of competence.
Accordingly, this
variegatedness of perspectives based on the aspirations of the papers
makes for a unique and rich tapestry of scholarly contributions to the
edition which merit serious attention.
